Dúné is a danish rock band. It was founded 2001 in Skive, Denmark, where all seven band members went to the same school. Their style is a comparable to British indie rock and resembles elements of 1980's pop music and 1970's punk rock.
In 2006 the band had their breakthrough in Denmark with their single Bloodlines. They were nominated as talent of the year at the annual music awards held by the danish radio station DR P3 and performed a the SPOT festival in Denmark.
In summer 2007 Dúné performed at the Roskilde Festival and at Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens. In that same year also their debut album was released. They performed as the support band during Panic at the Disco's 2008 tour.
