Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers (SK6ers) is an American rock band featuring lead singer Stephen Kellogg (November 28, 1976-), bassist and keyboard player Keith 'Kit' Karlson, and drummer Brian 'Boots' Factor. Up until he left the band to pursue interests on Broadway in April 2008, the good friend Kyle Riabko served as lead guitarist. Before Riabko, Chris Soucy was the band's lead guitarist for a few years. Most of the members hail from Massachusetts, and went to school at UMass Amherst. The Sixers have developed a moderate fan base by touring almost nonstop year-round. In the last two years, they have performed over 300 shows, and have been steadily moving thousands of copies of their independently released albums. Their album Glassjaw Boxer was honored as one of the top five albums of 2007 by USA Today critic Brian Mansfield.
