This is an extensive inside look of the production of film adaptation of the musical sensation "Les Misérables" (2012). The film is coming to U.S. theaters December 25, 2012. The inside look includes a look behind the production, the costumes, the makeup, and some original music including interviews of the stars and a few bits and clips of the process of recording the actor's singing in camera to
capture the real emotional depth of the story that is being told.
Film Synopsis: Set in 19th century France, Les Miserables tells the story of broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption. The musical is the story of Jean Valjean, Fantine, Cosette, and Inspector Javert told through the power of some of the world's most well known and beloved songs.
The film stars Hugh Jackman as Valjean, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Russell Crowe as Javert, Amanda Seyfriend as Collette (err Cosette), and Sacha Baron Cohen as "Thenardier". The adaptation is of the musical but it includes more including stuff
that is in Victor Hugo's novel of the same name.
Seriously, one can easily see how this movie pulls on one's heartstrings. Even the tag line to "Les Mis" emphasizes that point: "Fight. Dream. Hope. Love." It is literally telling you the film is dripping with drama. Fortunately, there has been a lot of good press about this movie and Snouty Pig has dug deep to find these
