Brogan Kelby is a nineteen-year-old pop/rock artist from Salt Lake City, Utah. At his young age, Brogan has released two studio albums and is about to release a summer EP entitled Breathe In Color on June 1, 2013. Mirrors & Masks (his second studio album) was released on August 28, 2012. All tracks were written, recorded, performed, mixed and produced by Brogan Kelby himself. He continued producing his own music for his upcoming EP Breathe In Color. His debut album Sky Lights features tracks produced by Branden Steineckert of Rancid (formerly of The Used). It was released on October 8, 2011, and debuted in the top 20 in Salt Lake City. The single “Who Cares” charted in the top songs on KXRK. On the day of Sky Lights’ release, he had the rare opportunity to sing in place of an ailing Brendon Urie with Panic! At The Disco. He was also invited onstage to play the guitar with Switchfoot when they performed “Dare You To Move.”
Brogan’s music has been described as Maroon 5 mixed with a male version of P!nk. In his youth, Brogan dealt with an abusive household, bullying, and alienation. He started writing songs at age eleven. Creating music was his only lifeline and those experiences of overcoming and surviving remain prevalent in his songs today. His music is mature beyond his years and is peppered with sass and sex appeal. Brogan has performed with Thirty Seconds To Mars, Panic! At The Disco, Switchfoot, The Wanted, Anberlin, iYaz, The Airborne Toxic Event, Neon Trees, OK Go, All Time Low, Downtown Fiction, Hollywood Undead, Cobra Starship, Middle Class Rut, and more.
