I'm About to Come Alive is an album by country music artist David Nail. It is his first album for MCA Nashville, and it will be released on August 18, 2009. The album was originally scheduled for release on August 26, 2008, but was delayed. The album was produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, the same producers who work for Miranda Lambert. The album includes a duet with Lambert, as well as co-writes with Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts' lead singer Gary LeVox, and five songs that Nail co-wrote. The lead-off single is the title track (which was originally recorded by the alternative rock band Train on their 2003 album My Private Nation), and it peaked at #47 on Hot Country Songs chart in 2008. The second single, "Red Light" (which was co-written by Jonathan Singleton) was released in early-2009, and has become his first Top 40 hit in May 2009.
