Emma Lee Bunton (born 21 January 1976) is an English pop singer, songwriter, and occasional actress, originally from the girl group Spice Girls, where she was known as "Baby Spice" for being the youngest member.
Life in Mono is the third album from British singer/songwriter Emma Bunton. Originally set for a November release in the UK, it has since been moved to December 4. The album is assumed to be much like her previous album, Free Me, with elements of British Pop Music of the 1960's and Motown with an edge, according to the singer[citation needed]. The first single taken from the album is a cover of the 1964 Petula Clark hit single "Downtown", to be released on the 13th of November. "Downtown" is the 2006 BBC Children In Need charity single. Bunton has been working on her third release since 2005. The title track of the album is a cover version of the hit 'Life in Mono' from 1990's Trip Hop band Mono.
