Bullets and Octane's new album, In the Mouth of the Young was produced by Page Hamilton of Helmet fame, and according to lead singer and the band's irreverent ringleader, Gene Louis, "the new record is about getting people to stop and question what's going on around them, stop being a product of their environment and ask why they're doing what they're doing...But we don't take ourselves too seriously. Some of it's tongue-in-cheek."



Bullets and Octane, whose members are originally from St. Louis but currently based out of Orange County, California, played their first show on New Year's Eve, 2000. In 2004 they released The Revelry on the indie label Ares Records. Since then they have toured relentlessly with the likes of Social Distortion, Eagles of Death Metal, Flogging Molly, and Avenged Sevenfold, and with the new record, they'll continue to bring their blistering rock to fans everywhere.
