“Peace Is the Mission” is the highly-awaited third studio album by American electronic music project Major Lazer, formed by Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, is set to be released on 1 June 2015 via Secretly Canadian and Interscope.
During the red carpet of The GRAMMYs, Diplo confirmed the expected release date, and he also said that the debut album of his another electronic music project Jack Ü with Skrillex will be released this month. He added:
The Madonna album’s out in March. I did a lot of her album. Then there’s Major Lazer, my project which I did with Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Travis Scott, Pusha-T, Gwen Stefani, that comes out in April. And with Skrillex I did an album called “Jack Ü”, that’s out this month. That’s really cool.
Major Lazer’s third studio album arrives on year after the release of their latest EP “Apocalypse Soon“.
This new project comes preceded by their recent track “All My Love” featuring Ariana Grande, included on “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” soundtrack.
The anticipated new single and ‘proper’ from the album is the song “Someone to Learn On“ features vocals of Danish rising star MØ. Along the pre-order of the album, they plan to release a new track called “Roll the Bass“ on iTunes on 23 March 2015.
