“Hysteria” is the upcoming fourth studio by American singer-songwriter and actress Katharine McPhee. It’s scheduled to be released on digital retailers on 18 September 2015 via LilyDog Entertainment and eOne.
It comes preceded by the lead single “Lick My Lips“, released on digital retailers on May 26th. This will be her first studio album in five years, when she released her Christmas album “Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You”.
The former American Idol contestant had the opportunity to write with Sia, Ryan Tedder and Florence + The Machine’s Isabella on her forthcoming album. She said during a chat with Entertainment Weekly:
I loved working with Sia. I got in with her when she first started wanting to write with pop artists. Ryan started a song and then I was able to finish it. The songs that I wrote were about things either people around me were going through, or I was going through, and I turned them into pop songs
The singer revealed the official artwork of the album during an interview with CBS’s The Talk on July 15th.
