Swim Deep have confirmed details of their second album release.

Having already released a number of tracks from the LP, the Birmingham band have now announced 'Mothers' for release on September 25 via Chess Club/RCA.

A press release states that the group, now a fivepiece with the addition of multi-instrumentalist James Balmont, recorded the album in both London and Brussels. The record is described as a "marked departure" from their 2013 debut 'Where The Heaven Are We'.

Singer Austin Williams says: "We've made a record, we’ve worked hard and we’re dead proud of it. We’ve called it 'Mothers' as a nod to the true creators of the universe and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about this next chapter."
