There is just over one month until Eric Prydz releases his long-awaited artist album Opus on Feb. 5 and now the tracklist has leaked out to the public somewhat ahead of schedule. The leak has spouted from a UK Amazon pre-order, which went live today and was spotted of course. The leak not only revealed which songs would appear on the album, but also that it was a double disc LP, which means 19 songs from Eric Prydz all in one place.
Since Eric Prydz rarely names his songs before releasing them, it can be hard to tell which of these tracks correspond to the countless IDs he has been rinsing out in his DJ sets and during his Beats 1 shows.
Disc one will be packed with entirely unreleased music, including "Liam," which has been around since his 2013 Essential mix. There is a collaboration with The Cut, which would be different since the Swede almost never collabs with other artists. Disc Two will contain some more high-profile tunes like his collaboration with Rob Swire of Knife Party and Pendulum fame, "Breathe" as well as presumably one of his Café Mambo IDs. He will also include some already released tunes from the past two years like "Mija," "Generate" "Every Day," "Liberate" and of course the title track "Opus."
