'American Idol' season 6 winner Jordin Sparks may have just turned 21 in December, but her new single 'I Am Woman' leaves no doubt the Grammy Award nominee and Broadway star is all grown up.



AOL Music sat down with Sparks to discuss her new, high-energy dance anthem and the meaning behind it. "'I Am Woman' is a song about different aspects of the lives of women," explained the singer/actress. "It could be a mother, a performer, a woman working in a corporate space -- its all about what we go through as women and how our lives are so crazy."



The bubbly Sparks also dished on her love life, this season of 'American Idol' and her role model, Gwen Stefani, in a revealing, exclusive interview.



Jordin's music is clearly growing and evolving, as the performer herself comes into her own after shooting to stardom at just 17. After losing 30 pounds over the past few months, Jordin seems more confident and comfortable in her "stilettos" than ever.
