哥伦比亚唱片公司决定11月16日推出摇滚巨星布鲁斯-斯普林斯汀的套装--《The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story》，该套装由由三张CD，三张DVD组成，收录了Bruce Springsteen那些代表性作品。套装中还包括1978年的专辑、21首从未发表的歌曲以及90分钟的纪录片《The Promise: The Making of 'Darkness on the Edge of Town'》。



《The Promise》中的三张CD包括：重新灌录的《Darkness》和两张录制完成以后从未发行的专辑。这一套唱片还包括Springsteen在录制专辑期间记录的80页的笔记原稿的复制品，内容包括歌词的修改、歌曲的设想以及一些私人笔记。



两张具有收藏价值的演唱会DVD将于9月14日在多伦多的电影节首次放映，10月7日由HBO(美国有线电视网)开始播出。这套音像制品还将以不同版本发行。



The Promise is a forthcoming album by Bruce Springsteen to be released on November 16, 2010. It is a double CD compilation of previously unreleased songs drawing from the Darkness on the Edge of Town sessions. The album will also be available as part of the box set The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story.
