Pitbull原名Armando PerezLutherCampbell，作为一个古巴裔的美国mc，pitbull还是还是坚持用英文Rap。最初他被邀请他出现在单曲《Lollipop》中，这让“pitbull”被DiazBrothers经纪人团队发现，后来一个Pitbull的freestyle出现在LilJon在2002的白金唱片《Kings of Crunk》中，2003年oye版本还出现在《速度与激情2》的原声中。《The Boatlift》是他个人第3张专辑，专辑制作请来了LilJon, Mr. Collipark, The DiazBrothers, Jim Jonsin主打单曲是《StickyIcky》《I know you want me》等。
