这位原名Alejandro Ghersi的23岁委内瑞拉籍音乐人，因为共同制作Kanye West《Yeezus》声名大噪，近年与超级新人FKA twigs 的合作亦让他在流行乐坛声势水涨船高，11月即将发行首张专辑《 Xen》之际， Björk也找上门邀请Arca共同制作新专辑。 委内瑞拉出生的制作人Alejandro Ghersi 音乐化名Arca，曾参与制作Kanye West 的《Yeezus》，不过真正对这个名字有印象，是来自FKA twigs 的《EP2》，Arca 的共同制作加上Jesse Kanda 的强烈视觉冲击，三人结盟让FKA twigs 在正式出辑前就惊艳四方。 Arca 在制作Björk 新专辑之余，个人首张专辑《Xen》也准备就绪，"Xen" 是专辑创造出的人物概念，可以当她是一个女孩，也可以当她是Arca 谜样且多样的内心投射。 Xen 的形象首先在〈Thievery〉与大家赤裸相见，导演就是长期结盟伙伴Jesse Kanda，见识过Jesse Kanda 为FKA twigs 操刀的影像和专辑设计，Xen 的怪诞美很快就可以亲近的是吧？ Alejandro Ghersi, better known by his stage name Arca, is a Venezuelan producer, consultant, mixing engineer and DJ based in Dalston, London. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he attended the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. In 2012, he released three EPs on the UNO NYC label: his debut as Arca, Barón Libre, Stretch 1, and Stretch 2. In 2013, he lent additional production on four songs from the Kanye West sixth studio album Yeezus, in which he also served as one of the three production consultants along with Hudson Mohawke and Young Chop and as a producer on FKA Twigs' EP2. He self-released the &&&&& mixtape for free, and was involved in an audio-visual performance of &&&&& alongside Jesse Kanda, who contributed the visuals, at MoMA PS1 in October 2013. His debut album, Xen, will be released on November 4, 2014 via Mute Records. He also entered the studio with Björk to work on her ninth album.
