The Android Angel is Paul Coltofeanu, a half-English, half-Romanian multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter currently residing in a small flat above a Cafe in Reigate, Surrey UK. He is joined on his recordings and occasional live performances by Steve Matthews and Joe Truscott. In the summer of 2010, Paul spent 5 weeks living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY where he wrote his third Android Angel album, "Marble Sun". Paul also makes music as Free Swim, and currently self-releases all his music through his own label, Sex Farm Records. Between the two projects, Paul has received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music and XFM in the UK, and has performed shows in England, Scotland, France, Germany and the United States. His Android Angel song "Hey!" features on "Acoustic Chill" alongside artists such as Bonnie Prince Billy, Vetiver, Nina Nastasia and The Dodos.
