Alex Goot (born Alex Gut; March 15, 1988) is a singer/songwriter from Poughkeepsie, New York. He is currently the 87th most subscribed musician on YouTube[6].In 2007, Goot launched his YouTube channel titled Goot Music. At first his recordings consisted of him singing and playing the piano (ie: his 2010 cover of "Dark Blue" by Jack's Mannequin) but after seeing YouTube sensation Pomplamoose and how the duo layered their music, he was inspired to change his production style.
