Dakona's sound is current, timeless, intimate, and epic. This Vancouver based quartet shows lyrical depth and sonic sophisitication that is rarely seen even in a seasoned rock outfit. 

Their first US recording for Maverick RecordsPerfect Change received acclaim from the 2004 Canadian Radio Music Awards where Dakona was a finalist, as well as being Alternative Addiction's .4 album of the year beating out Nickelback, Howie Day, Train, and Vertical Horizon. 

Dakona's first US single "Good" was featured in episodes of "Joan of Arcadia", "Summerland", and"Northshore".
