Certainly one of the greater attractions of the musical proposal by EXXASENS is its vagueness when it comes to his music label with a particular style. The EXXASENS' universe is full of soundscapes transporting the listener to a universe with a myriad of details and crossed melodies. This could be erected in that area where post-rock bands like Mogwai or Explosions in the Sky, to name the most representative, plagued by beatiful melodies where atmospheres of the guitars have special prominence. The style tries to go beyond covering elements of progressive metal and nu-metal. EXXASENS born in April 2007 in Barcelona as a solo project by Jordi Ruiz, guitarist of the bands Playmotive and Kyba. By then, Jordi begins to compose and produce songs in his house without more help than a computer and a guitar, as a hobby and marked without any objective. Then, he decided to create a small home studio in his house for empowering their creations and give greater quality to his compositions. This raises produce a song and post it to your monthly myspace (www.myspace.com / exxasens). Within a few months, receives over 10,000 visits and very good reviews. The main theme of inspiration for this work is the exploration of the universe by human beings. One year after its inception and after composing 12 songs, the new independent label "Counsoling Sounds" decided to go for EXXASENS. On May 10, 2008 is published an initial release of 100 copies under the name of POLARIS. This first album has 10 instrumental songs that connect the listener with space recreated a universe based melodies and sound effects. Songs like "Spiders on the moon" which recounts the journey of the Apollo XI to the moon, "Polaris" which describes the immensity of the universe or "Gamma Channel" which recreates one of the passages from the work of Orson Wells' War of the Worlds ", a precisely defined what it EXXASENS tries to convey with its proposed special music.
